Chocolate…for breakfast? It sounds insane but your wishes have come true! This bowl is a sweet way to get your day started with all the healthy fruits and protein you need. Not only is it vegan, but it’s also gluten free (and did we mention it’s insanely delicious?) But don’t just limit yourself to eating it for breakfast because you can enjoy it for a dessert too. It’s perfect for you babes who have a sweet tooth but don’t want to give in to the extra calories. No need to starve yourself for that summer bod. We got you... photo via pinterest
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3 frozen bananas
- 1/4 cup of peanut butter
- 1/4 cup almond milk or more depending on consistency
- 1 kiwi cutt into pieces
- coconut shreds to top
- chia seeds to top
In a blender add in your frozen bananas, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and almond milk.
Blend all of the ingredients. It may seem like it’s too dry at first but be patient! Scrape down the ingredients from the sides and mix in between pulses. If it’s too thick simply add in more almond milk a little at a time until it’s the consistency you like.
Pour out into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings. As we always say…the possibilities for toppings are endless.
